The secret to good cooking and web design is to keep it simple. Start with quality ingredients or concepts and try not to get in the way. Your website should be a showcase of you, your product(s) or service(s), not a display of your web guy's ability. I design sites that look professional and ensure your message is heard.
When designing a site, it is easy to get caught up in the "what" and the "how". If you want to see results, a return on your investment, you will have to focus on the "why". I design websites to help clients get results by helping them with the "why".
Cookie cutters are great for, well, making cookies but they do a lousy job when it comes to making websites. Every site I design is a collaboration between me and the client which results in a unqiue solution every time.
